RAINBOW Tourism Group chief executive officer Tendai Madziwanyika has revealed that they have almost completed renovations at Bulawayo Rainbow hotel.
The hotel was closed for renovations that included bathrooms, plumbing and windows on the 1st of February and only opened on the 8th of April.
Plumbing at the hotel was done around 1952 when it was built and had not been changed up to date.
Speaking recently, Madziwanyika said the hotel is going to look amazing once all the scheduled renovations are complete.
“We managed to change all the plumbing all of it, the water reticulation, cold water, hot water we changed it to the latest technology which is the latest in the world we changed all the bathrooms we gutted it totally.
“We changed the windows so very soon when you go to Bulawayo you will not experience noise in Bulawayo Rainbow, it’s centrally located and you will not experience noise,” he said.
Madziwanyika also revealed that they are going to change lifts at the hotel by the end of July this year.
“We are changing the lifts by the 10th of May all the lifts will be here and would have been installed by end of July so that hotel is going to look amazing,” said the RTG boss.
