Entrepreneur Terrence Maphosa, owner of KwaTerry Traditional Restaurant, which promotes rural tourism and organic food, has expanded his brand by introducing accommodation, ‘’kwaTerry Village.’’
Terry announced on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by pictures and short videos, indicating that the accommodation is 80% complete.
‘’To my friends. I present to you the KwaTerry Village. Now you can spend nights at KwaTerry. The ultimate Village experience is here. My offering for the Year,’’ he said.

He however did not indicate when the accommodation that is located in Mhondoro Ngezi Turf Village 6 will start taking bookings.
People on X were full of praises for the young businessman.
One person said ‘’You’re aiming for the stars, great work. Keep the experience as “Rural” as you can.
‘’People the world over are now enthralled with Cultural experiences & exchanges. There’s a big market for you both locally & internationally,’’ he said.

The move by Terry comes at a time when the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry is in the process of trying to promote ‘’Township Tourism and Cultural Tourism.
Tourism is one of the key economic pillar for the 2nd Republic in Zimbabwe together with Agriculture and mining.
Zimbabwe is hot on the heels being awarded as of the best must travel to destination by Forbes Magazine.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa said the sector must take advantage of the award to increase the sector’s fortunes, adding that Parliament must urgently deal with the Tourism Amendment Bill.
Terrence Maphosa is a 2023 #MandelaFellow. He is the founder and CEO of KwaTerry, which breeds chicks and goats, producing and distributing roadrunner meat.
