The move by Terry comes at a time when the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry is in the process of trying to promote ‘’Township Tourism and Cultural Tourism.

Tourism is one of the key economic pillar for the 2nd Republic in Zimbabwe together with Agriculture and mining.

Zimbabwe is hot on the heels being awarded as of the best must travel to destination by Forbes Magazine.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa said the sector must take advantage of the award to increase the sector’s fortunes, adding that Parliament must urgently deal with the Tourism Amendment Bill.

Terrence Maphosa is a 2023 #MandelaFellow. He is the founder and CEO of KwaTerry, which breeds chicks and goats, producing and distributing roadrunner meat.

According to KwaTerry, their mission is to promote sustainable agriculture and village tourism while celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Zimbabwe.

”We strive to empower our community through local sourcing, education, and cultural exchange, creating a vibrant hub that showcases the beauty and potential of rural life. Through our commitment to sustainability and community engagement, we aim to inspire positive change and foster a deep appreciation for the traditions that define us.”
