ANTELOPE Park which is famed internationally for its African lion conservation program is offering a massive 30% discount to Zimbabweans who will book their stay at the park this winter (June to July 2019).
The discount comes at a time when the government is trying to push domestic tourism which has however been affected by issues of exorbitant prices being charged by some players in the tourism sector.
Under this offer, Antelope Park said customers can choose from its luxury Island Lodges or the cosy standard rooms.
“We are offering a 30% discount to all Zimbabwe residents for our comfortable array of accommodations. You can choose from our luxury Island Lodges (all come with a heater) or our cosy standard rooms.
“Don’t miss this opportunity to save money and make memories with loved ones, family or friends,” the park said.
While all other activities are still on offer, Antelope Park said there are no water activities this time due to drought which has gone to affect its river.
“All our world-renowned activities are still on offer; however our river is low due to the drought Zimbabwe experienced last year. So take note no river activities available (but it’s okay its winter right?),” said the company.
In order to beat the chilly Gweru weather, Antelope Park has warned potential guests to carry along with them warm clothes closed shoes, scarves and big jackets, especially during the chilly evenings.
“If you would like the opportunity to enjoy our exciting Night or Day Encounter (Where our Lions are let out into the park and you will have a 40% chance in seeing a kill!) , you will be provided with hot tea, warm blankets and snacks while watching our majestic Lions under the milky way,” said Antelope Park.
Over the past 10 years, Antelope Park and its associated businesses and shareholders have contributed over US$2 million to community and wildlife conservation programs, the latter focused more specifically on the African Lion.
According to the company, none of this would be possible without their guests.
