Zimbabwe’s premier tourism expo, the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Travel Expo, will this year be hosted in the ancient city of Masvingo in line with the government’s policy of leaving no place behind.
Sanganai/Hlanganani, which used to take place in Harare (Harare Province), before being moved to Bulawayo (Bulawayo Province), was hosted in Mutare (Manicaland Province) in 2025 and is now in Masvingo Province.
Posting on its social media platform, the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) indicated that the expo will take place from the 9th to the 12th of September at Gymkhana Events and Conference Centre.
‘’The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) hosts the Sanganai/Hlanganani Tourism Expo every year, and the 2026 edition, themed Sanganai/Hlanganani – Dzimbahwe Tourism Expo will be hosted from the 9th to 12th September, at Gymkhana Events and Conference Centre, Masvingo.
‘’Recognised as Africa’s premier tourism trade fair, the expo brings together exhibitors, buyers, investors, and suppliers of tourism-related services from across the region and the world.
‘’Delegations are expected from neighbouring countries including South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, and Malawi, alongside buyers from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and China.
