ZAMBIA’S leading local and regional airline Proflight has announced that it is offering a 20% return discount to travellers who are going to this year’s edition of N’cwala Traditional Ceremony on its Lusaka-Mfuwe route.
The
airline has even pledged to add extra flights to the route as part of
its effort to sup[port and promote tourism and travel in the Eastern
Province.
In a statement the company sales and marketing manager Barbara Namwila said they are happy to connect travellers and tourists to this year’s edition of N’cwala.
“We are pleased to announce extra flights and more K class seats plus a 20% discount for travel to Eastern Province using our Lusaka-Mfuwe flights to attend the N’cwala Traditional Ceremony.
“Our tradition is our identity. We are very proud as a Zambian airline to promote our culture and connect travellers to this year’s N’cwala ceremony.
“We
are very happy and excited to connect tourists and travellers to this
year’s ceremony,” she said.
According
to the company, the discount is available on Proflight’s Lusaka-Mfuwe
route between Friday 28 February and Monday 2nd March using promo
code ‘Ncwala20’. The offer is valid only on return flights.
The
N’cwala Traditional Ceremony is held every year on the last
Saturday of February by the Ngoni people of Chipata District in the
Eastern Province of Zambia. It is a celebration of the first harvests
of the year.
