In a statement, the company said, “all ValueFlyer bookings secured for travel during the period 25 February to 31 March on the airline’s international routes(only) will include two pieces of Checked Baggage allowance, each weighing up to 23 kg, versus the standard one piece of Checked Baggage allowance, with no additional fee charged.

“The second free bag/item will be in addition to the free cabin bag allowance and personal item that each customer may carry on a fastjet flight.

“The free Checked Baggage allowance also offers customers an exclusive opportunity to interchange a bag for sporting equipment or a musical instrument,” said the company.

Fastjet also revealed that it is set to introduce several exciting initiatives during the month of March, as part of their commitment to customer loyalty.
