PJ Powers keen to market Zim tourism

SOUTH Africa music legend Penelope Jane Powers (PJ Powers) says she is looking at ways of helping market the country’s tourist destinations to the world.

PJ Powers is widely known across the world owing to her prowess in the music circle and command a huge following as well.

According to Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) head of corporate affairs, Godfrey Koti, “celebrated South African music icon PJ Powers paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Prisca Mupfumira to share ideas on how she can help market destination Zimbabwe to the world”.

Since the coming in of the new dispensation in November last year, Zimbabwe is looking at enhancing tourism as it is one of the key pillars in economic revival.

This has seen the coming in the World Football Legends, Chinese companies all for the purpose of marketing the country.

The coming in of PJ Powers will be a plus to tourism both domestic and international.
