United States of America (USA) Ambassador to Zimbabwe Pamela Tremont visited the Delta Corporation exhibition stand at the ongoing Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo.

At the stand, the Ambassador was received by the group’s finance director, Alex Makamure.

Writing on their Facebook page, Delta Corporation said it was honoured by the visit and took the opportunity to showcase how it has contributed to Zimbabwe’s beverage sector and the country’s economic growth.

‘’Honoured to host the United States Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Her Excellency Pamela Tremont, today at our stand during the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair 2026.

‘’She was warmly received by our Group Finance Director, Mr. Alex Makamure, as we showcased our continued commitment to driving innovation, maintaining world-class quality, and advancing sustainability across our operations and value chains.

‘’The engagement provided a valuable opportunity to highlight our contribution to the beverage industry and our shared vision of fostering economic growth and long-term impact in Zimbabwe and beyond.

‘’We remain committed to building stronger partnerships and shaping a brighter, more sustainable future together,’’ said the company.

Zimbabwe International Trade Fair is arguably the biggest exhibition in Zimbabwe that brings people from various sectors of the economy to showcase their products and services.

Others also use the exhibition to introduce new products and get feedback from customers and stakeholders.

The 2026 edition of ZITF (66thedition) is running from the 20thto the 25thof April, and under the theme “Connected Economies, Competitive Industries,”.

and is expected to be officially opened on the 23rd April, 2026, by Botswana President His Excellency Advocate Duma Gedion Boko is epxetced to officially open the fair on the 23rdof April.

According a statement from the Zimbabwe’s Cabinet, over 520 exhibitors have registered, surpassing the 486 who participated in 2025. Among the exhibitors this years, about 72 of them are coming for the first time, and a total space of 49 100 m2 representing 93% of the total available exhibition space has been booked.

In terms of foreign participation this year ZITF has attracted more than 33 international exhibitors from 16 different countries in the region and beyond confirmed, compared to the 17 recorded in 2025.
