Stanley and Livingstone boutique hotel refurbishes

STANLEY and Livingstone Boutique Hotel in Victoria Falls has sunk about US$4million refurbishing its 16 luxurious suites giving them a touch of modern comfort, charm and retained classic ambience fit for relaxing.

The boutique hotel which is located about 15 minutes away from the Victoria Falls becomes the first boutique hotel in the country’s famous resort town.

The refurbishment which took about 12 months to complete makes Stanley and Livingstone Boutique Hotel an elegant hide-out for families, couples or individuals who are keen to explore and take a break far from the madding crowd.

Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Prisca Mupfumira who officially re-opened the refurbished facility paid tribute to the Aujan family for in investing in Zimbabwe and remaining focused.

“The investment in Stanley and Livingstone has had a far-reaching positive impact that extends well beyond tourism but also into the areas of environment, employment and community development,” she said.

The 5-star boutique hotel with a total of 16 suites exquisitely standardized contributes to its distinctive atmosphere in addition to its amazing views. Furthermore, the Stanley and Livingstone Boutique Hotel offers the best regional and international cuisine and for the big spender with an exceptionally exclusive taste.

Speaking at the same occasion, Aujan Investments group chairman Abdulla Aujan said he is confident that the refurbishments will work well to increase tourist traffic to Victoria Falls.

“This refurbished property is set to attract more of the niche market that is interested in high-end products as the property meets global luxury standards.

“My family has a heart connection with Zimbabwe hence our maintaining presence in this country. We value the support rendered by the government and we remain committed to bettering the lives of Zimbabwe through our business,” he said.

Stanley and Livingstone is a partnership between the Moore and Aujan families and has been running for two decades in the resort town of Victoria Falls.
