Harare, Zimbabwe – Zimbabwe has unveiled its official logo and theme for the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka, showcasing a confident vision for the country’s participation in the prestigious global event.

Expo 2025, sanctioned by the Bureau International des Expositions, will be held in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, 2025. Zimbabwe joins over 150 participating nations, with an expected audience exceeding 2.8 million.

“Beyond The Limit” Theme
The Zimbabwean pavilion’s logo, designed by Simanga Sibanda, is accompanied by the theme “Beyond The Limit.” Foreign Affairs Minister Fredrick Shava, officiating at the launch, described the theme as a reflection of the country’s potential and a call to action for a brighter future.
“This theme captures our national achievements and the vast potential in tourism, trade, and investment,” Minister Shava explained. “‘Beyond the Limit’ emphasizes transcending boundaries through heritage preservation, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.”
A Symbol of Strength
Minister Shava further highlighted the logo as a symbol of Zimbabwe’s collective strength and boundless potential.
“This vibrant and bold design serves as a reminder of our nation’s resilience, innovation, and capacity for growth,” he said. “Let us embrace the opportunities at Expo 2025, united in shaping a future filled with prosperity, unity, and hope.”
Japan Welcomes Zimbabwe’s Participation
Japanese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, His Excellency Shinichi Yamanaka, applauded the logo launch, emphasizing the potential for a new chapter in relations between the two nations.
“Expo 2025 offers a platform for Zimbabwe to showcase its potential and forge new partnerships,” Ambassador Yamanaka stated. “This is an opportunity to attract investment and increase tourism between our countries.”
