Matobo Hills Lodge offering free shuttle services

TOURISTS travelling to Matobo Hills Lodge will no longer need to worry about transport from Bulawayo as the lodge is now offering free shuttle services to its guests.

Transport is currently on the expensive side these days owing to unavailability of fuel and also the subsequent increase announced by the government last month.

In a bid to cushion its guests, the lodge said they are aware that fuel is a challenge and that their facility is a bit far hence the need to offer the service.

The service will not only be from the Bulawayo central business district but also from as far as from Joshua Nkomo International Airport.

“At Matobo Hills Lodge we believe in offering affordable luxury to everybody. Value in business has become less commonplace (especially in Zimbabwe). We know that fuel is hard to come by we know that Matobo hills might be far away for you.

“We know you might be worried about getting lost or worse breaking down on your way. So, we have come up with a solution no one else would dare to dream up – Free Transfers for everybody!

“You heard us right. Whether you book for one night or one week – We guarantee you don’t have to stress about transport with our shuttle bus running to and from the lodge to Bulawayo,” she the lodge in a statement on its Facebook page.

To make it even exciting, Matobo Hills Lodge will be giving discounts to the first 20 customers who will take advantage of this shuttle offered.

“Hold on – It Gets Even Better…

“The first 20 bookings to take advantage of this amazing new offer will also receive 20% off their entire bookings.

What are you waiting for – Book Now,” said the company.

Guests to Matobo Hills Lodge will have an opportunity to experience a variety of activities that include Rhino Safari, Cave Paintings, Game Drives, Cultural trips, hiking and also visit Cecil John Rhodes grave among many others.

In terms of food, Matobo Hills Lodge offers African Cuisine where lunch and dinner are three-course meals cooked African safari style, over a wood fire by the lodge’s passionate local chefs who cook with creativity and technique.

There is also Bush Dinner which is a very special starlit dinner for groups of 6 people or more at no extra cost and is set just a few hundred metres from the safari lodge itself, following a gentle climb you will find yourself at the top of a beautiful granite rock with heart-stopping views of the Maleme valley below.
